Public Works Department Laborer
The City of Piqua is accepting applications for the position of Laborer in the Public Works Department. Duties include operating light equipment to perform street maintenance functions; driving a dump truck, repairing potholes, operating chainsaws, weed-eaters and power lawnmowers. As a laborer you will also assist skilled workers in such tasks as laying pipe lines and making forms for streets and curbs, digging ditches, mixing cement and driving a truck to spread salt, plow snow or haul materials. The City of Piqua is seeking those interested in taking the Civil Service exam for the position of Firefighter/Paramedic. This written examination is being offered through National Testing Networks throughout the United States. You must register prior to reporting to the testing facility.
