Piqua Veteran Banner Program
Honor Your Hero with a Veteran Banner
The City of Piqua's Veteran Banner Program is a special way to recognize and honor the men and women of Piqua who are currently serving or have proudly served in any branch of the U.S. Armed Forces.
Showcase Your Hero’s Legacy
Banners will be proudly displayed from Memorial Day through Veterans Day on light poles along East Ash Street, from Spring Street to the CSX railroad overpass bridge, allowing the entire community to celebrate their service. After Veterans Day, the banners will be carefully removed and made available for pickup at the Municipal Government Complex. Applicants will be notified when their banners are ready for collection.
A Lasting Tribute
Each banner features the individual’s military photo, name, and years of service on a 48-inch by 18-inch display, beautifully crafted to honor their sacrifice and dedication. The cost is $100 for a new banner, which includes two-sided design, printing, installation and removal. Banners can be displayed for up to three years at a discounted rate of $40 for years 2 and 3, as long as the banners remain in good condition. Space is limited to just 75 banners, and applications will be processed on a first-come, first-served basis.
