The City of Piqua reminds residents that service with Rumpke for refuse, recycling and yard waste collection began on March 31, 2025.

All customers were sent the flyer included here via postal mail in March. Below are helpful tips and resources for customers through the transition.

• Your collection day remains the same. Collection times start at 6 a.m. Please place material out the night before your scheduled collection.

• Continue to use your Piqua-issued trash and recycling carts. Rumpke will switch out the containers in the coming weeks with branded Rumpke carts. Additional information will be sent out prior to this change.

• Recycling, yard waste and bulk items will continue to be collected. For details on items accepted and preparation for materials to be collected, visit Rumpke’s website: https://www.rumpke.com/.

• Find the Rumpke flyer sent to customer addresses at the City of Piqua website: https://piquaoh.gov/DocumentCenter/View/2684/Rumpke-Sanitation-Service-Flyer.
