The City of Piqua notifies residents that traffic may be impacted during a third-party construction project that is expected to launch the week of January 5 and continue until early summer.

CenterPoint Energy will be modernizing its natural gas mains and service lines in the area pictured in the map, including sections of Linden Avenue, Clark Avenue, Hancock Street, Brice Avenue, Boal Avenue, Sheridan Street, Cottage Avenue, Manier Avenue, Brook Street and Gordon Street. While work will include some corners along South Street, the work is not expected to occur along South Street. As the project progresses, the scope of work may expand to include additional locations within the overall project area shown on the map.

Traffic will be maintained throughout the project, though motorists may experience delays. Motorists are urged to avoid affected areas or use caution when traveling in these areas. Residents and businesses on the affected streets may have short-term street parking impacts.

If a street closure is needed, residents will be notified through the Street, Alley and Road Notices alerts in the Notify Me system. To sign up for street notifications, visit piquaoh.gov/list.aspx.
