At its meeting on Tuesday, January 6, Piqua City Commission welcomed a new commissioner and elected a mayor and vice mayor.

Law Director Jessica Stiltner administered the oath of office to Commissioner William Walker, Jr., who was elected to a four-year term representing Ward 3 in the November election.

Stiltner also administered the oath of office for Mayor Jim Vetter and Vice Mayor Frank DeBrosse after the Commission elected them to two-year terms in their respective roles on Tuesday evening.

The City of Piqua appreciates each of these public servants and their dedication to the community. Congratulations and thank you!
