Piqua Power System crews have restored power following an outage that affected approximately 2,000 customers today.
Preliminary information indicates the outage may have been caused when a tree limb came into contact with a three-phase power line near College Street and Miami Street, which likely caused a circuit to trip.
Power crews responded promptly and were able to restore service. The City appreciates the community’s patience during the brief interruption.
