The City of Piqua offices are closed the remainder of today, Tuesday, January 21, 2025, and until noon Wednesday, January 22, 2025, in order to prioritize the wellbeing of our staff. The closure is due to heating equipment issues in the Municipal Government Complex during extreme cold temperatures outside.
Essential services provided by the City will continue. Sanitation services will continue as scheduled; however, slower collection than usual is expected over the next couple of days due to the weather. Customers may use the SmartHub application by visiting piquaoh.smarthub.coop or calling 855.396.4222 to pay utility bills or manage their account.
The Piqua City Commission meeting scheduled for 5:30 p.m. today, Tuesday, January 21, 2025, has been rescheduled for 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, January 28, 2025, in Commission Chambers in the Municipal Government Complex, 201 W. Water St., Piqua.
