[ARCHIVED] Power restored after outage in east Piqua

**UPDATE** Power is back on after the Piqua Power Supply team restored power at 7:38 p.m. The cause of the outage was a bird that came into contact with energized lines. We expect no further concerns or updates.

Piqua Power System crews are working to restore power as an outage affects approximately 814 customers this evening in east Piqua.

Areas impacted include Indian Ridge subdivision, Looney Road and East U.S. Route 36.

A circuit went out at Substation 5 at about 6:30 p.m., and our team is working to identify and remedy the issue.
