[ARCHIVED] City of Piqua Parks & Recreation introduces disc golf instruction class

The City of Piqua Parks & Recreation Department is excited to offer a free four-week Disc Golf Instruction Class this summer at Mote Park. Open to ages 12 and up, this beginner-friendly program is perfect for anyone interested in learning the fundamentals of one of the fastest-growing outdoor sports.

Class Details:
WHEN: Wednesdays: July 9, 16, 23 & 30 | 6 to 7 p.m.
WHERE: Mote Park Disc Golf Course
COST: FREE! Participants will receive a complimentary three-disc starter set, courtesy of Hazy Shade Disc Golf & More.

The weekly sessions will cover basic throwing techniques, putting and approach strategies, course management and will end with a friendly tournament-style game.

Bring comfortable athletic clothing, athletic shoes and a water bottle.
