[ARCHIVED] City of Piqua to host touch-a-truck event

Touch a truck

The City of Piqua, in partnership with Mainstreet Piqua, will host a touch-a-truck event from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, October 11, at the Public Works facility, 859 S. Main St.

The free, family-friendly event will give children and adults the chance to climb in, explore and take photos with a variety of large vehicles, including a fire truck, police SWAT truck, tow truck, school bus, crane, snowplows and tractors.

A sensory-friendly hour will be offered from 10 to 11 a.m. During that time, horns, sirens and running vehicles will be paused to provide a quieter experience.

The event is open to the public and no registration is required.
