[ARCHIVED] City of Piqua extends application period for board and committee vacancies

The City of Piqua is accepting applications from residents interested in serving on its boards and committees. Community members who wish to contribute their time and expertise to local government are encouraged to apply. 

 The following vacancies and upcoming openings are available:

 Board of Zoning Appeals

Term length: 5 years

  • One immediate vacancy
  • One opening effective January 1, 2026

City Commission — 4th Ward

Term length: 4 years

  • One opening effective January 1, 2026

City Historic Review Commission

Term length: 5 years

  • One opening effective January 1, 2026

Park Board

Term length: 5 years

  • Two immediate vacancies

 The deadline to apply has been extended to Thursday, January 1, 2026.

 Applicants must be residents of the City of Piqua. Additionally, City Commission applicants must have lived in the 4th Ward for at least one year preceding appointment.
