OFFICES CLOSED SEPTEMBER 29, 2023 11 A.M. to 4 P.M.

City of Piqua offices will be closed Monday, January 26, 2026, in order to prioritize the safety of the public and City staff during inclement weather and extreme cold temperatures.

The National Weather Service has issued a Cold Weather Advisory for the Piqua area from midnight to 6 p.m. Monday, January 26, 2026, and an Extreme Cold Warning for 6 p.m. Monday, January 26, 2026, to noon Tuesday, January 27, 2026. Extreme cold temperatures are expected throughout the week, and the City encourages residents to limit exposure to the cold air and watch for additional City notices about office closures and street conditions.

Essential services provided by the City will continue. Customers may use the SmartHub application by visiting piquaoh.smarthub.coop or calling 855.396.4222 to pay utility bills or manage their accounts.

Rumpke Waste & Recycling will not be conducting sanitation collection on Monday, January 26, 2026, and will be operating on a one-day delay for the remainder of the week.
