City of Piqua offices will be closed Tuesday, January 27, 2026, in order to prioritize the safety of the public and our staff during inclement weather and extreme cold temperatures.
The National Weather Service has issued an Extreme Cold Warning for 6 p.m. Monday, January 26, 2026, to noon Tuesday, January 27, 2026, and the Miami County Sheriff’s Office maintains a Level 2 Snow Advisory for the county, encouraging residents “to travel only if absolutely necessary.”
Extreme cold temperatures are expected throughout the week, and the City encourages residents to limit exposure to the cold air and watch for additional City notices about office closures and street conditions.
Essential services provided by the City will continue. Customers may use the SmartHub application by visiting piquaoh.smarthub.coop or calling 855.396.4222 to pay utility bills or manage their accounts.
