Echo Hills Golf Club will host a meet-and-greet with Stella on Saturday, March 28, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., at the Echo Hills Clubhouse, 2100 Echo Lake Drive, Piqua.
Stella, the beloved four-legged ambassador of Echo Hills Golf Club, recently received national recognition after being selected as the March honoree in the 2026 National Dog Calendar produced by the Golf Course Superintendents Association of America.
Stella plays an important role at Echo Hills, serving as both a hardworking helper and a beloved companion to the course crew. Her primary responsibility is chasing geese off the course, preventing them from nesting and becoming aggressive toward golfers.
In addition to her patrol duties, she assists by picking up sticks around the course and provides plenty of moral support for staff. Stella has proven to be highly effective in her role, consistently keeping the course safe and enjoyable for visitors.
Guests are invited to stop by the clubhouse to meet Stella, enjoy paw-shaped cookies and take home a photo stamped with Stella’s paw print.
We hope the community will join us at Echo Hills to celebrate the course’s most beloved personality.
