City of Piqua 2019 Tax Filing and Payment Extended to July 15, 2020
On March 27, 2020 the Ohio Tax Commissioner extended the due date for filing and payment of state and municipal income tax to July 15, 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Therefore, the City of Piqua income tax returns and payments for the 2019 tax year with a due date of April 15, 2020 have been extended to July 15, 2020. Estimated payments for the first and second quarters of the 2020 tax year have also been extended to July 15, 2020.

How do I submit my forms once they are filled out?
You can either drop your payment off in our drop box located on the west side of our building between the Fire Department and the Utility Business Office.

The City of Piqua Income Tax Department processes and collects all City income taxes. Eighty percent (80%) of income taxes collected come from individual wage earners and twenty percent (20%) from business and industry.
No income tax is paid on income that people receive from Social Security benefits, teacher or other pensions.

8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. (Monday through Friday)
