The City of Piqua Human Resources Department has the centralized responsibility for recruitment and selection of employees, employee on-boarding, civil service, policy & procedure, employee & labor relations, classification and compensation, performance management, employee benefits, and maintenance of personnel records.
The department also interprets employment laws, and interacts with union leadership, civil service commission, labor management groups, health insurance personnel, chamber of commerce groups, and many others.
Thank you for your interest in employment with the City of Piqua. The Human Resources Department will accept applications only when a job opening exists. When an opening is announced you can apply online at piquaoh.org under the Human Resources Department, Job Opportunities tab.
Applications are reviewed and then interviews will be scheduled. Due to the high volume of response for posted vacancies, the process may take several weeks. Your patience is greatly appreciated.
