Listed below are the basic rates for electric from the Piqua Municipal Power System. Other factors that may affect the total amount charged to customers include adjustments for changes in the in the cost of fuel and purchased power, Ohio Excise Tax (KWH Hour Tax), use of radio-activated shutoff devices, adjustments for primary metering, and adjustments for primary services.

All charges for users situated outside the corporate limits of the city (except for city departments) shall be 115% of the above charges. |

For all service calls outside normal duty hours, a charge of $60 may be made. |
Wastewater discharge from recreational vehicles owned by citizens that have current utilities accounts with the city or by approval of the wastewater treatment plant superintendent. Charges will be at a rate of $0.15 per gallon, based on tank size. |
Each user is to be notified at least annually, in conjunction with a regular bill, of the rate and that portion of the sewer service charge which is attributable to OM&R costs of the wastewater treatment services. |

Listed below are the monthly stormwater rates for the City of Piqua Utilities.
Residential
The stormwater user fee will be a monthly service charge and will be determined by the applicable Equivalent Residential Unit (ERU).
All residential customers are charged at 1 ERU per month (equivalent to 5,400 square feet) | $6.70 |
Commercial and Industry
The customer is charged at a rate set by the City of Piqua Stormwater Coordinator.
