The City of Piqua is excited to announce City Commission voted and swore in First Ward Commissioner Thomas Fogt as the new Mayor of Piqua and Second Ward Commissioner Cindy Pearson as Vice Mayor during January 4, 2022, Piqua City Commission Meeting,.
“Thank you to the other Commissioners for the appointment. I look forward to serving it well with their guidance,” said Piqua Mayor Fogt. “Commissioner Lee thank you for your two years in this seat. You took on the brunt of things and Commissioner Hinds for starting impactful engagement with our community. Community engagement is going to be a big focus for me, engaging with the citizens grasping their ideas on where they would like the city to go.”
Third Ward Commissioner Kris Lee and Fourth Ward Commissioner Chris Grissom have been sworn in for another term ending in 2025 as a result of the 2021 election.
