City of Piqua Fireworks Postponed for Later in the Year

Due to the State of Ohio’s Ban on Mass Gatherings still being in effect and social distancing limitations, the City of Piqua has decided to postpone the 4th of July Firework Show for later in the year. We believe this is the right thing to do to abide by the state guidelines during COVID-19 and to ensure the health, safety, and welfare of the Piqua community, visitors, and staff members. Other Cities who have canceled or postponed include but are not limited to Fairborn, Dayton, Centerville, Vandalia, Moraine, Franklin, Kettering, Englewood, Columbus, and Preble County.

We encourage the community who will gather with family and friends on private property to follow the social distancing guidelines provided by the State of Ohio that can be found here coronavirus.ohio.gov.

The postponed date is still to be determined and we will make an announcement as soon as arrangements are made and restrictions are lifted.
