On Tuesday, January 19, 2021 Piqua City Commission will recognize the 2020 – 2021 Winter recipients of the Residence Pride Awards-Holiday Light Displays.
This is the second year for the Holiday Light Display Awards and the Residence Pride Committee received quite a few nominations. The Committee thanks everyone who nominated the homes and we thank all of our citizens for your beautiful displays this year.
The Residence Pride Committee met and reviewed the nominations from Piqua citizens. The following were awarded and a holiday award sign will be placed in front of their homes:
Barry & Cynthia Gertner – 1019 Westview Drive
Jeremy & Kelli Laughman – 520 Spotted Doe Court
Joseph & Catherine Bundy – 1809 Carlyle Drive
Dustin & Hannah Wenrick – 1220 Nicklin Avenue
Adam & Elizabeth DeBrosse – 1009 Laura Drive
The Residence Pride Award is based on the following criteria:
- Property appearance
- Landscape appearance
- Helpful neighbor in regards to landscape or home improvement project
- Home improvements-general clean-up of a property
- Business owner/landlord property
- Beautiful Holiday Light Displays
The Committee would like to congratulate and thank the Winter recipients of the Holiday Light Display and we thank you for sharing in the Holiday spirit within our community.
The Residence Pride Committee meets on a regular basis to select the winners and the Committee encourages Piqua Citizens to submit nominations. Nomination forms are available on the City’s website at www.piquaoh.org or the Municipal Government Complex in the City Managers office or in the Utilities Department.
