Students from Piqua High School’s American Government Systems course, an Edison State Community College dual credit class, recently participated in a full-day, behind-the-scenes experience exploring City operations.
Throughout the day, students engaged in a comprehensive program that combined interactive presentations with on-site visits to City facilities. The experience provided an in-depth look at how local government functions in practice, including infrastructure, public services and the roles and responsibilities of various departments.
Students gained valuable insight into decision-making processes, service delivery and the collaborative efforts required to support the community on a daily basis.
The City extends its appreciation to all departments that contributed to making the experience informative, engaging and impactful for participating students.
