Miami County Public Health COVID-19 Update

Miami County – Miami County Public Health is issuing an update on the COVID-19 in Miami County.

As of today, Thursday, May 14, 2020, Miami County is reporting 317 positive COVID-19 cases and 30 deaths due to COVID-19, in Miami County.

On Monday, May 18th, 2020, Miami County Public Health, along with other county buildings, will be open to the public. While we will be open many divisions will still be working with limited staff as well as modified service procedures. It is recommended that community members call prior to visiting to ask about current office procedures.

  • Vital Stats Department will be limiting the office to 1 customer, so in order to avoid longer wait times please continue to place orders via our website:, phone: 937-573-3500, or fax: 937-573-3501.
  • Environmental Health Division is asking customers to continue to utilize email & phone service options.
  • WIC Division will continue to provide appointment services. Please call 937-573-3549 for an appointment.
  • MCPH Nursing Division will continue to offer appointment based services as well as additional telehealth options. Please call 937-573-3518 or 937-573-3520 for an appointment.

Community health and wellbeing is our utmost priority. When in the building staff will practice proper social distancing guidelines and wear face coverings. We ask that visitors practice social distancing and while it is not required, it is highly recommended that visitors also wear a face covering when in the building. MCPH will continue to update the community on the evolving COVID-19 situation in Miami County.
