National Coffee With a Cop Day – October 7, 2016

The Piqua Police Department is participating in the first National Coffee with a Cop Day this Friday, October 7, 2016, by finding multiple venues to spend one-hour making an officer available to listen to citizens without any agenda and without the barriers like cruisers, cell phones and radios. We look forward to the opportunity be make ourselves more approachable and have some relaxed conversation with community members, to engage in solving the problems of our community together.

Please join us at any of these locations between 6am and 6pm Friday:
Time Location
6:30 am to 8:00 am – Winans Chocolates + Coffees – Looney Road
9:00 am  to 10: 00 am – Piqua Chamber of Commerce

10:00 to 11:00 am –  McDonald’s West

3:30 pm to 4:30 pm – McDonald’s West

Any business that would like to host us for an hour on Friday should contact Chief Jamison at 778-2027 or I have some logos available if you are interested in promoting this for us and would like some visuals. We hope to do this more often in the future, with a single location per day.

We think the national day makes a great opportunity to kick off this initiative!
