The Residence Pride Award is given by the City of Piqua to recognize citizens who show “pride” in their community by positively impacting a property or properties in the City of Piqua. These positive impacts can be (but are not limited to):
General Property Appearance
Landscape Appearance
Helping a Neighbor in Regards to Landscape or Home Improvement Project
Home Improvements
General Clean Up of a Property
(Properties nominated can be residential or business properties)
To nominate a property for the Residence Pride Award, complete a nomination form and send to:

Nominations and/or questions can be e-mailed to the Residence Pride Committee.
The Residence Pride Committee meets on an on-going basis to select recipients. Recipients receive a letter of congratulations from the City Commission and a photo of their home. A Residence Pride sign is placed in front of the award winner’s house for approximately one month. Residence Pride Award Recipients are highlighted in a display in the lobby of the Municipal Government Complex.
On Tuesday, January 19, 2021 Piqua City Commission will recognize the 2020 – 2021 Winter recipients of the Residence Pride Awards – Holiday Light Displays.
