The Income Tax office will be available by phone Monday – Friday 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Individual Tax Returns: If you need help filing your return during this time, we ask that you send us a copy of all of the following, if they apply, so we can process your return in our office.
- All W2’s, W2G’s, or 1099’s for miscellaneous income
- Federal 1040, pg. #1
- All Federal schedules(s) if applicable to you – (#1, C, E, F/4835)
- Copy of all other city returns filed for those with self- employment or rental income in other cities
We will complete your return and mail you a final copy. If there is a balance due, the return copy we mail you will show the balance due with a payment due date noted for your convenience. If we need additional information, we will send a letter by mail requesting the information we may need to finalize your return.
Tax return filings and documents can be mailed, emailed, or faxed to our office or dropped off in the Utility Payment Drop Box located on the west side of the City building between Utilities and the Fire Department.
Tax Payments: Check payments made out to Piqua Income Tax can be mailed or dropped off in the Utility Payment Drop Box. If you have already filed a return in our office and want to pay by credit card for a balance due, please contact our office by phone.
